Hi, I’m Anna — your local foodie guide here in Lyon!

After working for several years in various startups across Europe, specializing in food marketing, I realized that what truly inspired me wasn’t just promoting food, but living it, sharing it, and celebrating it every day. That’s when I decided to return to France and chose Lyon — the capital of French gastronomy — as the perfect place to start a new chapter.

While looking for new opportunities, I stumbled into a short-term job as a tour guide — or as we say in French, "to put some butter in the spinach!" Spoiler: I absolutely loved it. Guiding allowed me to connect with people from all over the world, to share stories, traditions, and, of course, amazing food. What started as a temporary job quickly turned into a true passion.

Today, I’m excited to launch my own tours, offering a unique, personal experience where visitors can discover the hidden gems and authentic flavors of Lyon through the eyes (and taste buds!) of a local.

In my free time, I’m also a passionate food content creator. I run a successful French-speaking Instagram account (annaloves_food) and a new English account (anna_in_lyon), where I share my favorite spots, gourmet finds, and culinary adventures.
